BRIDGEWATER: Paul A. Bridge, Jr., 60, of Cottage Lane, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford with family by his side.
He was born on July 17, 1960 in Utica, a son of the late Paul A., Sr. and Janet Southworth Bridge and was a graduate of Waterville High School in 1978. Paul had worked for several area farms, the Waterville Knitting Mill, and then, for 28 years, was a plant supervisor at The Fountainhead Group in Chadwicks. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events, was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and he liked Hotwheels.
Surviving are his companion, Dana Dupres; his sons, Bobby S. (Kristin) Bridge and Steven M. (Caitlin) Bridge, all of Waterville; grandchildren, Madyson, Mikenzi, Mia, Brianna, Gage, Seth, Addelynn and Cade Bridge; a great-granddaughter, Teagan Marie Bridge who was born on February 22, 2021; his siblings, George Bridge of Deansboro; Naomi (Scott) Saville of Waterville; Chris Bridge of N. Brookfield; Brian Bridge of Deansboro; Veronica Lymon (Charlie Jones) of Brookfield; sister-in-law, Donna Bridge of Waterville; brother-in-law, Joseph Lymon of Bridgewater; Dana’s parents, Ralph (Ruth) Dupres, Jr. of Ilion; her children LeRoy, (Dana) Guyer, Jr. of Unadilla Forks; Heather (Andrew) Kampf of Bridgewater; grandchildren, Teala and Trenton Guyer, Jaida, Jessy, Michayla, Andrew M. (McKenzee) Kampf; great-granddaughter, Josee Kampf. He is also survived by the mother of his boys, Cathy (Lopesz) Bridge of Waterville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and Dana’s brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Jeannine Roberts; brother, William Bridge; two nephews, Alex Saville and Brady Bridge; and a sister-in-law, Sara Briggs.
Private Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville and will be live streamed.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am to 2pm prior to the service. Masks are required for all who attend.
Interment will be private at the convenience of his family.
