Wow! Where to begin with the memories. I first met Rusty at Sherburne Christian Academy in the early ‘80’s. We hit it off as friends right from the beginning. He was such a character with a great sense of humor and had a mile wide smile and piercing brown eyes. If you were having a bad day, Rusty was sure to make you smile or laugh. Although the school closed many years ago, our friendship remained through the years and we would pick up where we left off when we would run into each other from time to time. I’ll forever see Rusty with a smile whenever I think about him. Praying for his family and that God will give them strength as they mourn the loss of a great character! -Julie Black
