He enjoyed collecting and refinishing antique furniture and antique toys as well as going to the Bouckville Antique Days. He loved rock-n-roll music and collected “oldies” for his jukebox. He liked going to car shows with his classic ‘69 Corvette, and, along with his son Jansen, rebuilt a 1965 Ford Mustang from the frame up. He loved going shopping and decorating his home for Halloween and Christmas. Above all, his family, especially his beloved grandchildren were the light of his life.
