Reba K. Bickford, 68, of Foster St., Whitesboro, NY, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford.

Reba was born November 14, 1950 in New Berlin, NY a daughter of the late Jean and June Reynolds Rogers. She was a graduate of Brookfield Central School, received her BS from SUNY Geneseo in elementary education, N-6 early child, and continued her studies at Syracuse University toward her master’s degree. On January 2, 1982, Reba married Daniel A. Bickford in Brookfield. He predeceased her on November 20, 2012. Reba was a case manager for Upstate Cerebral Palsy in Utica until retiring. She was very dedicated and enjoyed working with families, receiving multiple awards for her work. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family and her career. She was always helpful to others and a very caring person. Reba participated in the America’s Greatest Heart Run and Walk and the Buddy Walk through UCP. She loved to read, especially The Cat Who book series by Lillian Jackson Braun, and enjoyed sewing.
Surviving are her son, Bradley A. Bickford of Whitesboro and his son, Daniel Bradley Bickford; her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Mae Bickford-Manson and James Manson of Utica and their daughters, Morgan and Cheyanne Bickford-Manson; two brothers, Dale (Lynn) Rogers of Levant, ME; and Brent L. Rogers of Brookfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, Kloster & Northrop Memorial Chapel, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, followed by interment in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Clinton.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 11am to 1pm prior to the service.
