Obituary

Harry J. Mulligan, 87, of Howard Rd., Sherburne, NY, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich.
He was born June 16, 1931 in Utica, a son of Harold and Dorothy Harrington Mulligan and was a graduate of Sherburne High School. Harry married Margaret Sandra (Ridgeway) Parsons in August 1989 in Sherburne. Harry had worked at T.A.C.O. in Sherburne for 35 years, Bennett Ireland in Norwich, and then for Kehoe Furniture in Norwich until retiring. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.
Harry was a communicant of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; his children, Kelly and Randy Page of Sherburne, Jacqueline and Shawn Parker of Sherburne; step-daughter, Susan Marie Wilcox of Brookfield; sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Andrew Heinegg of Potsdam, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Gloria Mulligan of Hamilton; brother-in-law, Earl MacArthur of Morristown, NY; seventeen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce MacArthur and a step-daughter, Juliette Pedersen
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, March 14, 2019 at St. Malachy’s Church, Sherburne. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 am at church.
The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the Mass.
Interment will be in St. Malachy’s Cemetery in the spring.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.

So sorry to read about Harry passing. Harry was a great guy, who loved you very much. I still laugh at the memories. Harry and the rest of the "spirit" of Sherburne will forever be in my heart.
