I enjoyed the company of both Darwin (Stub) and Loren throughout our school years. It's nice to know he had a good life and created a loving family.

So sorry to hear about Stub. Our deepest sympathy to Carol, also Stacy, LouAnn, Steve and their families. Stub was an Icon in the area and beyond! His professionalism, work ethic and honesty, is what you thought of when you heard the name "Baker Excavation"! He had a right to be proud of what he had accomplished, from one piece of equipment in the '60s, to the great company he had built today. A very good friend to my family. He was a great friend of my brother Bill, oh the stories they could tell of their "earlier" days. Please know you all will be in our prayers. Now is when you lean on each other. He was a good man.
