Condolence From: Carolyn Gerakopoulos
Condolence: While at West Winfield/Mt.Markham, I had the pleasure to have Louis both as a colleague and friend. We shared rides to school, happy hours at the Clarodin, laughter, great times with students and fellow teachers. He was one of a kind, loyal, dedicated to his family and his students, as well as his friends. It was an honor to know him. Rest In Peace. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you. Carolyn

Condolence: Dear Shirlee, the Langone Family, and many Friends and Associates of Mr. Louis Langone,

Shirlee, these certain thoughts represent our collective sadness this day, deeply felt within his colleagues and contemporaries who worked with Louie over many years in military service. Indeed, those were happier times when your very fine husband Louie fondly served his country with distinction in the United States Navy. It must now be over forty-years past, and Louie is remembered as a steady, loyal, competent, and trusted naval personnel administrator, a truly interesting sailor who could be counted on to effectively accomplish his work assignments efficiently, professionally, and on schedule. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the untimely passing of an exceptional gentleman, a true friend, and reliable shipmate – Petty Officer First Class Louis C. Langone, YN1 (retired), United States Navy.

Sailor, Rest Your Oar!

Sincere regards,
DJ Paul, CWO4 (ret.), USNR
