The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charlene Spellicy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

A Tribute to Gram (aka GG)

I have never met a more confident, intelligent, loving, and selfless woman, and I had the privilege of calling this special lady my grandma. She was truly a remarkable woman, and I am so fortunate that she had the time to develop relationships with Avery and Cayson- they love their GG! Gram, You willingly made me more doll clothes than Mattel makes in a year, my brothers and I always had the best Halloween costumes around, even when we wanted to be Moto (from Biker Mice from Mars), Belle, or whatever else we came up with. You always found a way to pull it off! Sewing with Gram was way more fun than "Sewing with Nancy." You spent hours preparing layered Oreo cake, muddy buddies, orange jello, and cinnamon rolls for us for every visit or holiday meal. You listened to my thoughts and opinions with respect, and became not just a grandma, but a great friend. Happy 90th Birthday, GG! We are hoping you're having the best birthday yet! We are missing you here, but we are confident in knowing you are celebrating your 90th birthday in Heaven today with PopPop and the rest of your family that has gone before you. You are a special lady, and we are so thankful for your example, your stories, your knowledge, and your love. Until we meet agian. <3 We love you, Gram!
